More than two dozen people have been injured in Arkansas after gunfire erupted during a concert at a nightclub in Little Rock, police say. All of those injured are expected to survive.

The incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. CT on Saturday when police responded to calls of shots being fired at the Power Ultra Lounge in downtown Little Rock. Upon arrival, they located numerous people who had been injured.

“Some sort of dispute broke out between individuals that were inside and an exchange of gunfire took place,” Little Rock Police Chief Kenton Buckner said. “We do not believe that this was an act of terror, nor do we believe this was an active shooter situation.”

Police said a total of 25 people had been shot and 3 others suffered injuries while trying to escape in the resulting panic. One person was initially reported to be in a critical condition but he or she was later described as stable. All of the victims are expected to survive.

Finesse 2Tymes, a rapper from Memphis, was performing at the time of the shooting.

“Prayers go to the innocent people and there (sic) family that came out to support me, last night in Little Rock,” he wrote on Facebook. “The violence is not for the club people. We all come with 1 motive at the end of the day, and that’s to have fun, not to be hurt.”

It was not immediately clear whether any arrests had been made.
